Fremont County School District #1 is based in Lander, Wyoming. We're located along the eastern slope of the Wind River Mountains in west-central Wyoming. Our district encompasses a total land area of 3,147 square miles with a district census of 11,330 residents. We serve the communities of Lander, Hudson, Jeffrey City, and the surrounding area.     Mrs. Nielsen and Mrs. Cartwright spent a wonderful Friday in Sinks Canyon with their classes. Students filled in their Junior Ranger newspaper as they listened to lessons. Habitat, vegetation, geology, animals, and the Popo Agie River were observed again. Thanks to Rangers Darrel Trembly and Jamie Simonson for all their hard work this year!
