Meet Our New Principal

Mrs. Majerus Answers Some Questions!

Would you like to know a little more about North’s Principal for the fall of 2010?  Our Student Council asked Mrs. Majerus the same questions they asked Mr. Oman in his third interview.

1.   Who is your role model?  Why?

My mom is my role model.  Although she is no longer alive I think about her everyday and remember all the positive advice and encouragement she gave me. She instilled a strong work ethic in me, a sense of the importance of family and faith.

2.  What is your favorite book and why?

Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss 

A truly inspirational book for any graduate young or old Dr. Seuss takes the reader on a journey through the maze of life.  From the words on the first page “Congratulations! Today is your day. You’re off to Great Places!  You’re off and away!“ to the last page “…Today is your day!  Your mountain is waiting.  So … get on your way!” this story in rhyme reassures the reader that the ups and downs encountered on the journey of life contribute to our ultimate success.    

3.  More Favorites!

Sports teams (in MLB, NBA, NFL):  Uh oh … I might as well confess now that I don’t follow   professional sports teams but if I had to choose a college team it would be The University of Montana Grizzlies…GO GRIZ! 

I just love Monte the U of M’s mascot.

Actor:  Antonio Banderas He was the voice of Puss In Boots in Shrek 2 and he starred in The Mask of Zorro and Spy Kids.

Restaurant:  Olive Garden   Cartoon: Charlie Brown

Day of the Week:  Friday   Food: Shrimp

Movie:  Hotel for Dogs  Holiday: Christmas  

Type of cookie: Sugar Wafers (strawberry, chocolate and vanilla…yummy!)

Flower: Pansy 

State:  It’s a toss up between Montana, Wyoming and Washington.

Singer or type of music: Taylor Swift and Celtic Music

4.   Is there anything else you’d like the students, staff, and families of North to know?

I am so excited to be moving to Lander and joining the North Superstars!  I hope to meet many of my students, staff and parents over the summer months.  My door is always open and I hope you will stop in and give a friendly Wyoming howdy that I’ve heard so much about!

New Students:

Please bring a copy of your child’s certified birth certificate, immunization records, and address/phone number of  the school last attended.

It is vital that we have updated information in case of emergency.  If you are unable to attend, please contact your school.
